How can we help you?
Do I need a team to apply?
You do not need to have a team ready when applying. Individuals are welcome and will be paired up before the event starts.
Is this a paid event?
Yes, there is a 5$ entry fee for the Ready, Set, Connect! event.
Is technical knowledge needed?
No, all teams will be balanced to include some students with technical background. Workshops are for both technical and non-technical people.
Can I apply as a U0?
Absolutely! All students are welcome.
Will solutions require programming?
A minimum of code will be needed to prove feasibility. Keep in mind you will be paired with people who have experience in programming!
Can non-STEM students apply?
The event is geared towards BCOM, ENG, & CS students. However, there are no program restrictions.
Is attendance mandatory?
Attendance is mandatory for the workshop and pitch day. All other events such as networking are optional, but highly encouraged.
Do I have to be a student at McGill?
No, this event is open to all Canadian students.
